Ekonomi Islam memandang bahwa kelangkaan (Scarcity ) bukanlah problem yang asasi dari ekonomi manusia. Problem ekonomi yaitu kelangkaan, contoh ; jumlah permintaan lebih tinggi dari pada jumlah penawaran. Islam tidak memandang kelangkaan problem asasi dari ekonomi manusia
