Abstract

El pensamiento es una herramienta que usamos con tanta naturalidad que casi siempre se da por sentada. Apenas la usamos para examinarnos a nosotros mismos, haciendo preguntas de "qué", "cómo" y "por qué" sobre la naturaleza y los mecanismos del pensamiento. Las preguntas de billones de dólares empiezan a surgir a nuestra mente: "¿De dónde viene la inteligencia?", "¿Qué es exactamente la conciencia?" o "¿Por qué hago preguntas?". Entonces, el libro Mindsponge Theory, Teoría de la Esponja Mental, invita a los lectores a explorar estas preguntas desconocidas y adentrarse en los reinos conceptuales más profundos de sus propias mentes para encontrar las respuestas. Si bien un cuchillo no puede cortarse a sí mismo, podemos ver la abundante evidencia de cómo interactúa con el mundo. Este libro, que invoca la curiosidad natural y presenta métodos científicos bien elaborados, alienta a los lectores a ser los exploradores del poder posiblemente más fundamental del ser humano: el pensamiento.
