Perencanaan Transportasi Wisata

Abstract

Perencanaan transportasi dilakukan agar tercapai tingkat efektifitas, ektesifitas, serta efisien secara biaya dan waktu tempuh. Efektifitas atau tepat guna berhubungan dengan upaya menciptakan keamanan dan kenyamanan wisatawan, sedangkan efisiensi menyangkut waktu tempuh dan biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk menjangkau destinasi/ tujuan. Perencanaan transportasi dapat dikatakan ektensif jika suatu jalur dan moda transportasi dapat menjangkau banyak titik/ destinasi wisata di suatu daerah. Transportasi sebagai sarana penunjang untuk mengantar wisatawan ke daerah tujuan wisata perlu dikelola sedemikian rupa agar para wisatawan tetap segar bugar rohani dan jasmaninya. Kesegaran ini dapat diupayakan dengan pengaturan perjalanan wisata yang mengasikan, hingga jarak yang jauh terasa dekat, jangka waktu perjalanan yang lama menjadi terasa sebentar. Dalam kegiatan transportasi wisata terdapat lima unsur utama yang harus selalu ada, kelima unsur tersebut antara lain moda transportasi (kendaraan), awak, jaringan jalan, sasaran wisata, dan wisatawanya
