Nhận thức và nhu cầu xử lý rác thải nhựa của người dân miền Bắc Việt Nam

Abstract

Việt Nam là một trong những quốc gia có lượng tiêu thụ nhựa cao hàng đầu thế giới tuy nhiên vấn đề xử lý rác thải nhựa vẫn còn nhiều hạn chế. Nghiên cứu này nhằm mục đích là tìm hiểu mức độ nhận thức và hành động của người dân đối với việc xử lý rác thải nhựa và nhu cầu đóng góp (willingness to pay - WTP) của họ để góp phần nâng cao chất lượng xử lý rác thải nhựa ở miền Bắc Việt Nam. Bài nghiên cứu sử dụng phương pháp định giá ngẫu nhiên (contingent valuation method - CVM) tiến hành khảo sát 730 hộ gia đình bằng phương pháp online trên địa bàn 8 tỉnh miền Bắc Việt Nam. Kết quả cho thấy đa số người dân (hơn 60% số hộ khảo sát) quan tâm và nhận thức khá rõ về tác hại của ô nhiễm rác thải nhựa, 64.25% số người tham gia đồng ý đóng góp vào quỹ này. Mức chi trả tự nguyện (WTP) của người dân cho quỹ xử lý rác thải nhựa được ước tính dao động từ 677,599 đến 676,158 nghìn đồng/hộ gia đình/tháng. Dựa trên các kết quả nghiên cứu, một số khuyến nghị chính sách đưa ra nhằm nâng cao chất lượng xử lý rác thải nhựa trên địa bàn miền Bắc Việt Nam.
