Abstract

Salah satu prinsip dalam pendidikan adalah penilaian pembelajaran. Penilaian pada dasarnya adalah tindakan menggunakan pertanyaan untuk mengungkapkan sejauh mana guru mengubah kinerja akademik siswa melalui pembelajaran. Sayangnya, penilaian adalah tugas yang perlu, tetapi rumit. Tanpa instrumen pengukuran yang dikembangkan dengan cermat yang mengungkap indikator pembelajaran, sangat sulit kalau bukan tidak mungkin untuk membuat penilaian yang bermakna. Esai ini memberikan penjelasan sekilas tentang Analisis Rasch, sebagai teknik untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian berdasarkan indikator pembelajaran yang ingin dinilai. Salah satu aspek yang paling kuat dari Analisis Rasch adalah teknik ini memungkinkan makna tindakan siswa dan makna tindakan kelompok dijelaskan menggunakan konteks butir instrumen. Untuk tes, kalau sekelompok siswa meningkat dari sebelum ke sesudah, guru dapat menjelaskan makna perubahan tersebut.
