Konsep ekonomi pada masa dinasti Umayyah

Abstract

Dinasti Umayyah merupakan salah satu dinasti awal dalam sejarah Islam yang memerintah dari tahun 661 hingga 750 Masehi. Dinasti ini memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan awal Islam dan mencapai puncak kejayaannya di bawah kepemimpinan Muawiya.Dinasti Umayyah bermula dari Umayyah ibn Abi Sufyan, seorang pemimpin Quraisy yang awalnya merupakan musuh Islam. Namun, setelah penaklukan Mekah pada tahun 630 Masehi, ia memeluk Islam dan memainkan peran penting dalam peristiwa-peristiwa awal dalam sejarah Islam.Dinasti Umayyah mengalami perluasan wilayah yang signifikan, mencakup wilayah-wilayah di Timur Tengah, Afrika Utara, dan sebagian Spanyol. Ini menciptakan kekhalifahan yang sangat besar dan berpengaruh.1 Perekonomian merupakan salah satu unsur terpenting dalam memperlancar prosespembangunan suatu negara. Sebab merosotnya perekonomian suatu negara akan berpengaruh terhadap proses pelaksanaan pembangunan yang akan dilakukan.2 Dalam kesempatan ini, kami akan membahas mengenai perkembangan ekonomi pada masa dinasti ummayah Yang didalamnya membahas mengenai kebijakan ekonomi yang di ambil pada para khalifah pada masa bani ummayah.
