Abstract

Fokus pada tulisan ini terkait dengan budaya Unnalli Melo sebagai nilai perdamaian dalam masyarakat Toraja. Budaya Unnalli Melo sebagai suatu paham perdamaian menurut masyarakat Toraja. Dengan adanya budaya Unnalli Melo maka dapat terus menjaga keharmonisan dan kedamaian ditengah kehidupan beragama. Konflik yang terjadi dapat diselesaikan dengan budaya Unnalli Melo. Ditekankan juga bahwa perdamaian dalam masyarakat merupakan suatu kebutuhan bersama. Dengan terciptanya perdamaian, maka setiap permasalahan atau konflik yang dihadapi dapat diselesaikan dengan baik. Dengan hal inilah, gereja harus berperan untuk mewujudnyatakan nilai Unnalli Melo dalam menciptakan kehidupan yang damai di tengah perkembangan teknologi yang semakin mempengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat. Dimana gereja harus memiliki sikap keterbukaan terhadap agama-agama lain dengan sikap inklusivisme. Sehingga terciptalah kehidupan yang damai dan mampu beradaptasi terhadap perbedaan yang ada.
