Cooking oil is one of the nine staple commodities (SEMBAKO) which is strategic and multipurpose which concerns the welfare of the community. These two properties make cooking oil a commodity that has an important role in the Indonesian economy. As the largest producer of crude palm oil, Indonesia is currently enjoying an upward trend in palm oil prices on the world market. Unfortunately, the rapid development of the palm oil industry in Indonesia is not accompanied by transparency of authorities and weak governance. The price of cooking oil in recent years has increased quite high. The cooking oil crisis is almost evenly distributed in almost all cities in a country that is one of the largest producers of palm oil in the world. With the condition of the price of cooking oil that is increasingly soaring, it makes a number of business actors increasingly difficult to obtain it. So that many of the household consumers and industrial consumers, especially the food processing industry, use used cooking oil (used oil) to be reused, as a result the quality of the resulting product decreases. Because if business actors increase the price of food, it will affect the interest of buyers.
