Abstract

The Founder bercerita mengenai seseorang bernama Ray Croc yang berhasil mengubah retoran cepat saji besar di dunia. Awalnya, McDonald’s adalah sebuah restoran kaki lima yang sangat populer dengan layanan cepat, makanan berkualitas tinggi, kemasan sekali pakai, dan suasana yang ramah keluarga. Ray bertemu dengan pemilik restoran kaki Lima tersebut, Mac McDonald (John Carroll Lynch) dan Dick McDonald (Nick Offerman). Dimana Ray mengajak Mac dan Dick untuk mengembangkan franchise atau waralaba dari restoran McDonald’s ini. Strategi wirausaha di film adalah dengan membedakan diri dari restoran lain yang membutuhkan waktu sekitar setengah jam untuk menyiapkan makanan tetapi McDonald’s ini menyediakan makanan hanya dalam waktu sebentar saja.
