Analisis Perbedaan Pemahaman Mahasiswa Pendidikan Akuntansi Terhadap Konsep Dasar Akuntansi

Abstract

Pemahaman tentang konsep dasar akuntansi memang penting untuk dikuasai oleh mahasiswa akuntansi, namun dari tuntutan tersebut tidak bisa mengesampingkan realita bahwa mahasiswa yang diterima dibangku perkuliahan jurusan akuntansi tidak semua berasal dari sekolah menengah yang mendalami ilmu akuntansi, Untuk Mahasiswa yang diterima dijurusan akuntansi Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang berasal dari latar belakang sekolah yang berbeda yaitu dari SMK, SMA dan MA. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMK Akuntansi, SMA dan MA tentang dasar akuntansi dengan menggunakan variabel pemahaman mekanikal, pemahaman induktif dan pemahaman rasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel 118 mahasiswa SI Pendidikan Akuntansi di Universitas Kanjuruhan Malang yang tercatat telah menempuh mata kuliah pengantar akuntansi 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji beda Kruskal Wallis untuk mengukur perbedaan pemahaman mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMK jurusan Akuntansi, SMA dan MA tentang konsep dasar akuntansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dasar akuntansi antara mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMK akuntansi dengan mahasiswa yang berasal dari SMA dan MA
