Abstract

Kata uang (nuqud) tidak terdapat dalam Al- Qur’an maupun hadis Nabi Saw. karena bangsa Arab umumnya tidak menggunakan kata nuqud untuk menunjukkan harga.Mereka menggunakan kata dinar untuk menunjukkan mata uang yang terbuat dari emas,kata dirham untuk menunjukkan alat tukar yang terbuat dari perak. Mereka juga menggunakan kata wariq untuk menunjukkan dirham perak, kata ‘ain untuk menunjukkan dinar emas.
