Abstract

Usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) merupakan salah satu bagian penting dariperekonomian suatu negara ataupun daerah, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Sebagaigambaran, kendati sumbangannya dalam output nasional hanya 56,7 persen dan dalamekspor nonmigas hanya 15 persen, namun UKM memberi kontribusi sekitar 99 persendalam jumlah badan usaha di Indonesia serta mempunyai andil 99,6 persen dalampenyerapan tenaga kerja. Namun, dalam kenyataannya selama ini UKM kurangmendapatkan perhatian. Dapat dikatakan bahwa kesadaran akan pentingnya UKMdapat dikatakan barulah muncul belakangan ini saja.
