Abstract

Kondisi UMKM ditengah pandemi terus mengalami penurunan kapasitas, mulai dari kapasitas produksi hingga penurunan penghasilan.Perlu adanya kebijakan dalam rangka melindungi UMKM agar tetap bisa kompetitif meskipun ditengah pandemi Covid-19. Ekonomi kerakyatan bisa menjadi jawaban untuk mengatasi potensi ledakan pengangguran, sekaligus menjaga daya beli masyarakat agar tidak merosot. Seperti diketahui, konsumsi rumah tangga masih menjadi primadona sebagai mesin penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan kontribusi sekitar 60 persen dari total produk domestik bruto (PDB). Menjaganya berarti mendorong sektor ini berkontribusi optimal terhadap PDB. Untuk itu program pemulihan ekonomi nasional sebaiknya difokuskan untuk menggerakkan sektor riil. Aktor laga di sektor riil adalah usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah, koperasi, pekerja sektor informal. Mereka yang bersentuhan langsung dan memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat sebagai konsumen.
