Pendidikan Anak dalam masyarakat Toraja

Abstract

Dalam artikel ini membahas tentang kearifan lokal pendidikan anak dalam masyarakat khususnya dalam Toraja. Tana Toraja sangat terkenal dengan kearifan lokalnya salah satu adalah cerita rakyatnya atau ulelean pare yang sangat bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan pendidikan anak karna hal itu dapat menambah daya ingat dari anak. Pada zaman dahulu masyarakat toraja sangat susah untuk mendapatkan pendidikan. Yang mendapat pendidikan itu hanyalah orang-orang tertentu atau hanya terkhusus kepada laki-laki. Masyarakat Toraja pada zaman dulu itu hanya mendapat pendidikan di rumah mereka atau tongkonan mereka. Di tongkonanlah masyarakat toraja saling bertukar pikiran dan di situ juga tempat mempersatukan keluarga.
