Analisis Kredit Untuk Mengatasi Non Performing Loan (NPL) Pada PT. Pegadaian (Persero)

Abstract

Pegadaian is a non-bank financial institution that provides guarantee products or services for certain loans. In providing loans or lending, PT. Pegadaian (Persero) must be able to face credit risks that cause bad credit or problem loans. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze or measure the company's financial performance to overcome bad loans which can be calculated using Non Performing Loans (NPL). This research uses quantitative data analysis methods, namely analyzing calculations obtained from the financial statements of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) for 2019 - 2021 with a Non Performing Loan (NPL) ratio. The results of this study indicate that the Non Performing Loan (NPL) ratio for 2019 - 2021 has reached the BI standard set at 5%. By looking at the results of the NPL analysis, it shows that the company is able to manage its current debt. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze or measure the company's financial performance to overcome bad loans.
