Abstract

Dalam tahapan revolusi teknologi, dunia mengalami empat tahapan dalam perkembangannya. Salah satu tahapan dari revolusi tersebut yakni penemuan teknologi digital yang berada pada urutan empat atau bianya disebut 4.0 (four point o).Tekonologi digital merupakan sistem pengoperasian otomatis dengan sistem komputerisasi atau format yang dapat dibaca oleh komputer. Dalam aspek kehidupan manusia yakni komunikasi, perkembangan tekonologi digital melahirkan atau menciptakan sosial media. Sosial media adalah suatu kumpulam perangkat lunak yang memungkinkan individu maupun komunitas untuk berkumpul, berbagi, berkomunikasi ataupun bermain (Boyd, 2015). Dari pengertian tersebut, dapat disebutkan bahwa sosial media adalah wadah yang digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi dan berinterkasi dua arah atau lebih secara online atau daring tanpa memiliki batasan jarak. Pada 2022, Hootsuite mengeluarakan data pengguna sosial media diseluruh dunia yakni lebih dari 58,4 persen dengan jumlah 4,62 miliar orang. Dalam pembahasan kali ini akan befokus pada facebook yang menjadi salah satu invosai atau desrupsi dalam sosial media.
