Abstract

Koperasi dipandang sebagai lembaga yang menjalankan suatu kegiatan usaha tertentu dan kegiatan usaha tersebut diperlukan oleh masyarakat. Kegiatan usaha yang dimaksud yaitu berupa pelayanan kebutuhan keuangan atau perkreditan, kegiatan pemasaran atau kegiatan lain. Pada tingkatan ini biasanya koperasimenyediakan pelayanan kegiatanusaha yang tidak diberikan oleh lembaga keuangan lainnya yang tidak dapat melaksanakannya akibat adanya hambatan peraturan. Peran koperasi ini juga terjadi jika pelanggan memangtidak memiliki aksesibilitas pada pelayanan dari lembaga lain.Koperasi telah menjadi alternatif bagi lembaga usahamikro kecil.
