Abstract

Ibn Khaldun termasuk di antara banyak pemikir di masa lalu, salah satu ulama paling terkemuka. Ibn Khaldun sering disebut sebagai raksasa intelektual paling terkemuka di dunia. Dia bukan hanya bapak sosiologi, tetapi juga bapak ekonomi, karena banyak teori ekonominya mendahului Adam Smith dan Ricardo dengan selisih yang besar. Artinya, ini lebih dari tiga abad lebih maju dari para pemikir Barat kontemporer ini (Ulum, 2016)Menurut Al-Ghazali, konsep kesejahteraan sosial sangat bergantung pada penciptaandan pemeliharaan lima tujuan dasar, yaitu agama (agama), kehidupan (jiwa), garis keturunan (keturunan), harta (uang), dan akal (akal). Selain itu, Al-Ghazali mendefinisikan aspek ekonomi dari fungsi kesejahteraan sosial dalam hierarki tripartit individu dan fasilitas sosial, yaitu kebutuhan (durality), kesenangan (needs), dan well being (perbaikan).
