Pengaruh Corporate Image Dan Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Customer Value Dan Loyalitas Pelanggan Hotel Grand Aston City Hall Medan

Abstract

Kondisi persaingan dalam industri perhotelan berlangsung sangat ketat sejalan dengan maraknya pertumbuhan hotel-hotel berbintang maupun hotel-hotel menengah di Sumatera Utara. Maraknya pertumbuhan hotel sama sekali bukan cerminan tingginya angka wisatawan yang datang ke Sumatera Utara. Hal ini tercermin dari rendahnya rata-rata tingkat hunian hotel di Propinsi Sumatera Utara dari tahun 2007 sampai dengan tahun 2011, dimana terjadi penurunan mulai tahun 2009. Dan pada tahun 2011 yaitu sekitar 47,52% yang naik tipis dibanding tahun 2010 sebesar 47,44 menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik Sumatera Utara. Kenaikan tingkat hunian ini berhubungan dengan tingkat kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin mengetahui hubungan corporate image, dan kualitas pelayanan dengan customer value sebagai variabel intervening dalam membangun loyalitas konsumen pada hotel Grand Aston City Hall Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan explanatory survey terhadap 200 konsumen hotel Grand Aston City Hall Medan. Data hasil survey dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan aplikasi LISREL 8.30. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan parsial dan simultan yang positif dan signifikan antara corporate image dan kualitas pelayanan dengan customer value. Demikian juga terhadap loyalitas konsumen dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh corporate image, kualitas pelayanan secara langsung maupun secara tidak langsung melalui customer value.
