Abstract

Pamali adalah suatu pantangan dalam budaya Toraja. Banyak orang toraja yang sampai saat ini sangat takut melanggar pamali ini. Orang Toraja pada zaman dulu percaya bahwa jika pamali ini dilanggar maka malapetaka akan datang menghampiri. Sampai sekarang pamali ini masih sangat melekat pada masyarakat Toraja. Pamali ini sangat bertentangan dengan agama Kristen karena pamali ini sudah membuat masyarakat seolah-olah tidak percaya lagi pada kekuasaan Tuhan yang mengetahui kehidupan manusia.
