Penyelesaian Kredit Bermasalah Pada PT. BPR Cempaka Mitra Nagari Padang

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of resolving non-performing loans at PT. BPR Cempaka Mitra Nagari. This study uses a qualitative method that is to describe descriptively the process of resolving non-performing loans at PT. BPR Cempaka Mitra Nagari Padang for the period 2017 – 2020. The results of this study indicate that the highest non-performing loans in 2018 were in doubtful credit collectability, this situation indicates credit management lacks analysis of credit customers. The cause of credit problems was due to errors from customers who were not disciplined and because the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic experienced a decline. Settlement of non-performing loans carried out by PT. BPR Cempaka Mitra Nagari Padang can be carried out in combination or by giving a letter of arrears or a warning to the debtor and providing relief from interest or principal arrears.
