Abstract

Tujuan penulisan jurnal ini adalah untuk menjelaskan konsep kebahagiaan dalam pandangan Aristippus dam kebahagiaan dan perspektif iman Kristen. Kebahagiaan adalah sesuatu yang diharapakan oleh setiap orang. Menurut Aristippus tujuan hidup seseorang adalah mencapai kebahagiaan. Penulis menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan untuk mengetahui konsep kenikmatan sebagai kebahagiaan tertinggi. Dijelaskan bahwa kenikmatan sebagai kebahagiaan tertinggi menurut Aristippus lebih mengacu pada kenikmatan badani. Namun konsep ini berbeda dengan kebahagiaan menurut pandangan iman Kristen bahwa kebahagiaan adalah sesuatu yang tidak dicari karena kebahagiaan sudah ada dan telah ditetapkan oleh Allah.
