Abstract

Artikel ini dilakukan dengan berfokus pada tata kelola pertambangan di Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara penghasil nikel terbesar di dunia dengan menggunakan pendekatan good exctractive governance (GEG). Konsep GEG bisa dijadikan salah satu alternatif solusi dalam upaya peningkatan kontribusi industri ekstraktif. Dari pendekatan good exctractive governance (GEG) akan dianalisa bagaimana pelaksanaan pertambangan di Indonesia berdasarkan sudut pandang tata kelola pemerintahan yang baik mulai dari pendekatan normatif (regulasi); hubungan antara stakeholder (pemerintah, swasta dan masyarakat); hubungan antar lembaga pemerintahan dalam pengelolaan tambang; perencanaan, implementasi, monitoring dan evaluasi kebijakan pertambangan; pelestarian lingkungan; dan dampak sosial dan ekonomi dari keberadaan kegiatan pertambangan di daerah. Hubungan antar teori yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini menempatkan teori good governance sebagai grand theory, Teori adaptive government sebagai meta theory dan good extractive government sebagai pharochial theory
