Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen merupakan salah satu bidang kajian yang saat ini sedang berkembang secara pesat seiring dengan perkembangan dunia bisnis dan kemajuan teknologi informasi sebagai pendukung dari aktivitas bisnis. Semakin kompleksnya sistem dan perannya di berbagai bidang kehidupan membutuhkan kajian Sistem Informasi Manajemen melalui pendekatan sosioteknik. Selama ini, pembahasan dan diskusi mengenai sistem informasi masih banyak asumsi umum yang menggiring pemahaman bahwa sistem informasi hanya berkaitan dengan pendekatan teknis saja. Multiperspektif atas sistem informasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi merupakan suatu studi pada bidang multidisiplin. Hal tersebut memperkuat posisi Sistem Informasi Manajemen yang didukung oleh teknologi informasi dalam membentuk sistem enterprise, memerankan fungsinya dalam mendongkrak rantai nilai suatu perusahaan
