Abstract

The waste bank is one of the efforts to overcome the waste problem. Through the waste bank, the community can use it as an attempt to improve the economy. This study aims to apply a waste bank as an effort to enhance the community's economy in the area of RT 05 RW 03 Manukan Lor, Banjar Sugihan Village, Tandes District, Surabaya City. The method used in this study is observation and interviews with local communities regarding bank waste that is carried out in the area. The results of this study indicate that the waste bank in RT 05 has played a role in improving the economy of the surrounding community.
