Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é promover um estudo sobre como a demanda do mercado por habilidades em informação impulsionou a formação de profissionais nesse ramo e influenciou o estudo das literacias da informação e digitais desde os primeiros anos do ensino básico até os cursos superiores de graduação e profissionalizantes. Esta pesquisa de caráter teórico e qualitativo foi arquitetada sobre a busca e leitura de artigos em bases de dados e referências específicas do campo da Informação e Educação. Oferece como resultado um panorama holístico sobre o mercado profissional da informação e um processo educacional que se inicia desde as primeiras idades e constróis cidadãos como pilares democráticos na sociedade do conhecimento na era da informação.
