Analisis Model Bisnis pada Maskapai Pan Am Airline

Abstract

Pan Am adalah salah satu maskapai penerbangan dengan layanan internasional terbaik yang berasal dari Amerika Serikat. Pada tahun 1950-an Pan Am meluncurkan layanan pertamanya sebagai pesawat dengan rute penerbangan ke seluruh dunia dengan menggunakan jet penumpang Boeing 707. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan penurunan (fall) dan kenaikan (rise) pada bisnis transportasi udara. Studi ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal pada bisnis Pan Am yang bergerak di bidang transportasi udara dengan analisis business model canvas, business pattern, business environment & value proposition canvas Bisnis transportasi udara pernah tren pertumbuhan dan sukses karena memiliki value proposition user merupakan maskapai terbesar di dunia. Namun, bisnis transportasi udara mengalami penurunan karena key activities tidak memiliki strategi dan langkah ke depan untuk menghadapi krisis minyak global pada saat itu.
