Abstract

Di dalam dunia ekonomi, modal sangatlah berperan besar. Mengapa demikian, karena pemilik modal bisa menguasai pasar dan bahkan dapat menentukan harga dengan tujuan mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar. Industrialisasi bisa berjalan dengan baik apabila melakukannya dengan tujuan mendapatkan keuntungan yang besar. Industrilisasi dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila melakukannya dengan kapitalisme. Dalam hal ini Fernand Braudel permah menyatakan bahwa “ kaum kapitalisme merupakan speculator dan pemegang monopoli yang berada dalam posisi untuk memperoleh keuntungan.
