Abstract

Hadis merupakan sumber utama pedoman hidup setelah al-Qur’an. Berdasarkan faktanya tidak semua hadis bersumber dari Rasulullah, pasal ini dilihat dari konteks sejarah perkembangannya. Sejarah hadis diawali dengan sedikit periwayat baik secara perkataan maupun catatan, oleh sebab itu banyaknya muncul hadis-hadis palsu. Dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini, para muhadditsin menyeleksi hadis ditinjau dari segi sanad dan segi matannya agar dapat diketahui kebenaran hadis-hadis tersebut bersumber dari Rasulullah atau tidak. Dalam pembelajaran hadis terdapat pula hadis-hadis yang bertentangan baik bertentangan pada isi matan hadis atau perbedaan paham mengenai isi matan hadis. Dengan adanya kasus ini para ulama hadis bertindak menyikapi hadis yang betentangan dengan beberapa cara penyelesaiannya, sehingga muncullah mukhtalif al-hadis, oleh sebab itu dengan adanya artikel ini akan ditelaah lebih dalam tentang hadis bertentangan atau mukhtalif al-hadis dan metode penyelesaiannya.
