Abstract

Monzer Kahfi adalah salah satu ekonom terkemuka dalam Islam dan melihat ekonomi sebagai bagian dari agama. Buku pertamanya "The Islamic Economy: Analytical Study of Functioning of The Islamic Economic System" diterbitkan pada tahun 1978 dan berisi buku tentang analisis matematis ekonomi Islam. Monzer Kahfi telah mencoba untuk mengkritik ekonom lain yang menekankan perbedaan antara ekonomi Muslim dan Barat. Asumsi utama dari pemikiran terkenal Monzer Kahfi adalah bahwa dia tidak harus menjadi seorang Muslim jika dia ingin menerima paradigma Muslim. Asumsi kunci lainnya adalah bahwa negara memainkan peran dalam perencanaan dan pengendalian. Negara dan umat Islam harus bekerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan menerapkan sistem ekonomi Islam. Dalam hal konsumsi, ada perbedaan dalam konsep Islam tentang kesuksesan, dan Monzer Kahfi percaya bahwa produk dan perilaku konsumsi seseorang sesuai dengan aturan organisasi non-pemerintah Allah. Oleh karena itu, dalam artikel ini, kami menjelaskan teori yang kami gunakan dalam istilah Monzer Kahfi. Monzer Kahfi mengaitkan teori konsumsinya dengan perilaku konsumsi, keseimbangan konsumsi, konsep produk Islami, dan etika konsumsi Islami. Dari sudut pandang penerapan, kesuksesan adalah menyeimbangkan konsumsi dengan menyeimbangkan tidak hanya dimensi material tetapi juga keyakinan hari terakhir (masa depan).
