Abstract

Preferensi konsumen adalah suatu kondisi yang menggambarkan kesukaan atau pilihan seseorang terhadap suatu jenis produk dibanding dengan jenis produk lain yang terbentuk dari persepsi konsumen terhadap suatu produk. Pengertian preferensi secara umum apabila ditinjau dari konsumen dapat diartikan sebagai suatu pilihan seseorang apakah suka atau tidak terhadap suatu produk barang atau jasa. Preferensi konsumen merupakan pilihan seseorang yang didasari atas persepsinya pada suatu produk. Preferensi konsumen dapat timbul secara individual yang relatif stabil dapat dijadikan keputusan konsumen pada suatu produk. Konsumen lebih memilih produk dan merek dengan makna simbolis yang konsisten dengan konsep diri mereka.
