Abstract

Pemikiran ekonomi neoklasik yang menggunakan paradigm positivism belum mampu memberikan pemerataan kesejarahteran pada berbagai sector dimasyarakat. Untuk itu diperlukan pemikiran ekonomi kelembagaan yang melandaskan paradigma yang holistik, orientasi kesejahteraan manusia, multidisiplin,dan mengakomodir budaya dan kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat. Pemikiran ekonomi kelembagaan sebagai alternatif baik ditinjau dari filosofis dan empiris pada kasus masyarakat pesisir. Berbagai kajian literature mengatakan ekonomi kelembagaan sangat sesuai untuk dikembangkan pada masyarakat pesisir yang masih kuat dengan budaya dan kearifan local, sebagai penopang tegaknya interaksi yang harmonis, dinamis, agar tercapai tujuan ekonomi yang berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan.
