Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan variable penting dalam suatu perekonomian. Model solow menjelaskan bahwa dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi dan output suatu negara dipengaruhi oleh tingkat tabungan, pertumbuhan populasi, dan kemajuan teknologi. Para ekonom menggunakan data Gross Domestic Product (GDP) untuk mengukur pertumbuhan ekonomi dan mengetahui tingkat pendapatan setiap orang dalam perekonomian. Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan variabel makroekonomi yang penting dalam menganalisis pembangunan ekonomi suatu negara, sehingga dengan jelas akan diketahui jumlah pendapatan total ataupun pendapatan perkapita di negara tersebut.
