Abstract

Waralaba atau franchise merupakan suatu bisnis yang dilakukan oleh pihak kedua (franchise) dimana pihak kedua tersebut berhak mendapatkan ijin dalam pemakaian nama brand, produk maupun sistem operasional sebuah usaha dari pihak pertama (franchisor) sebagai bentuk kerja sama yang telah disepakati oleh kedua belah pihak dan dalam kerja sama itu terdapat pembagian keuntungan. Bisnis franchise atau waralaba ini terdiri dari 3 jenis, yaitu bisnis franchise dibidang produk, bisnis franchise dibidang jasa dan bisnis franchise dibidang jasa sekaligus produk (gabungan). Bisnis franchise dibidang produk biasanya lebih menjual atau mendistribusikan produk dari franchisor contohnya seperti gacoan, BBM, Mixue, Chatime dan lainnya. Sedangkan bisnis franchise jasa biasanya berkaitan dengan bisnis dibidang jasa seperti jasa bersih-bersih, laundry, pengiriman dan sebagainya. Beberapa contohnya adalah JNE, JNT, The Quick Clean, Mr. Klin Laundry dan lainnya.
