Abstract

The increasing development of technology is one of the reasons why there are many types and options of transportation. Indonesia is currently trying to advance and improve technology, one of which is in the field of transportation, namely bicycles. This can be seen from the various innovations and types in creating bicycles, such as wood-based in ancient times until now with aluminum, iron and even electricity which are used for daily needs as a trend, style or for health. Due to the increasing number of various innovations and types, the competition in the world of transportation, especially bicycles, is becoming very tight. Therefore, good operational management is needed in order to remain competitive and survive. Good operational management includes in terms of finance, marketing, quality. The Hankam Raya Bike Shop is a shop that sells bicycles and other bicycle needs. The technique used in this research is data collection using interview and documentation techniques. The results of research on operational management at the Raya Hankam Bike Shop show that operational management has run quite well even though there are some that are not included in the operational management decision theory. In the 10 operational management strategic decision theories, the theories include product design, quality management, location strategy, spatial strategy, human resources and job design, supply chain management, scheduling, inventory management and maintenance. Meanwhile, what is not included in the operational management decision theory is only process and capacity design.
