Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap karyawan berdasarkan gender pada PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Cabang Soppeng. Untuk mengimplementasikan tujuan tersebut maka digunakan analisis deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas serta analisis uji beda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis mengenai perbedaan kompetensi karyawan menurut gender maka ditemukan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kompetensi laki-laki dan perempuan, alasannya dari hasil uji beda dengan independent simple t test diketahui memiliki nilai thitung yang lebih besar dari ttabel dan selain itu memiliki nilai sig < 0,05. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan adanya perbedaan kompetensi karyawan adalah dilihat dari latar belakang pendidikan karyawan, usia karyawan dan masa kerja karyawan.
