Abstract

1.1 Who Are Managers ? Manajer adalah orang yang bertanggung jawab untuk mengarahkan dan memantau pekerjaan orang lain untuk mencapai tujuan dari sebuah organisasi tersebut. 1.2 Classifying Managers First-line Managers : seseorang yang tugasnya mengelola pekerjaan seseorang yang non-managerial ( karyawan biasa). Contohnya : shift managers, office managers. Middle Managers : atasan langsung dari first-line managers. Contohnya : regional managers, store managers. Top Managers : orang-orang yang bertanggung jawab membuat keputusan dari suatu organisasi, membuat perencanaan, dan penetapan tujuan. Contohnya : CEO, COO, CFO, dan managing director.
