Abstract

Perbankan syariah atau perbankan Islam adalah suatu sistem perbankan yang pelaksanaannya berdasarkan hukum Islam. Di dalam perbankan itu sendiri sudah diatur ataupun sudah ditetapkan hukum perbankan itu sendiri. Negara kita Indonesia telah memiliki perangkat hukum yang cukup dalam mengatur hukum perbankan itu, diantaranya UU no.21 tahun 2008 tentang perbankan syariah, UU no.23 tahun 1999 tentang Bank Indonesia, selanjutnya ada Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti UU Republik Indonesia no.2 tahun 2008 tentang perubahan kedua atas UU no.23 tahun 1999 tentang Bank Indonesia.
