Pemikiran Ekonomi Abu Yusuf; Relevansinya pada Ekonomi Modern

Abstract

Nama lengkap Abu Yusuf adalah Ya'qub bin Ibrahim bin Habib al-Ansāri al Jalbi al- Kufi al-Baghdādi. Beliau dilahrkan di Kuffah pada tahun 113 H/ 731 M. Ulama yang bermadzhab Hanafi ini memilki ibu yang masih bernasab dengan sahabat nabi yaitu Sa’ad Al Anshari (Nurseha, 2018). Abu yusuf lahir bukan dari keluarga kaya, sehingga saat belajar, beliau ikut bekerja dan mencari nafkah. Meskipun begitu, masih semangat belajar dan meriwayatkan hadits dari beberapa ulama besar diantaranya Hisyam Ibn Urwah, Abu Ishaq Asy-Syaibani, Atha Ibn Sa’ib. Ia juga belajar fiqh kepada Muhammad ibn Abdurrahman ibn Abi Laila. Kemudian ia juga belajar kepada Imam Abu Hanifah langsung. Sang imam sangat takjub dengan kecerdasan Abu Yusuf selama belajar. Setelah Imam Abu Hanifah wafat, ia dipercaya memimpun perguruan gurunya selama 16 tahun lamanya(Zunaidi, 2021). Pada tahun 166 H, beliau pindah ke baghdad, sehingga beliau menemui Khalifah Al Mahdi (salah satu dari Khalifah Bani Abbasiyah). Saat itu pula, Khalifah Al Mahdi mempercayakan kedudukan sebagai Haki, di Baghdad Timur(Firdaus, 2015). Pada masa Khalifah Harun Al Rasyid, ia diangkat sebagai Qodi al Qudod (ketua para hakim pada khilafah Abbasiyah). Setalah Abu Yusuf memilki kekuasaan menjadi hakim, maka beliau menyebarkan madzhab Hanafi sampai beliau wafat di Baghdad pada tahun 182 H/798 M(Ghozali & Khoirunnisa, 2018).
