Abstract

Realitas angka diskriminasi terhadap perempuan dalam lingkungan kekristenan cukup memprihatinkan. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi akibat ketidaktahuan bagaimana bersikap dan bertindak yang benar terhadap kaum perempuan. Akhirnya kaum laki-laki lebih superior terhadap perempuan. Akhirnya gender perempuan semakin miskin di tengah masyarakat. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, tulisan ini menawarkan sebuah hospitalitas menggunakan paham asketisme dalam Alkitab untuk melawan diskriminasi-diskriminasi yang terjadi pada kaum perempuan.
