Abstract

The younger generation has a responsibility and hope on their shoulders to bring glory to the nation and state in the future. Responsibility is a person's attitude and behavior to carry out his duties and obligations towards himself, society, the environment, the state and God Almighty. Therefore character education is needed in order to build the character of the younger generation. , millennial youth must have the courage to be at the forefront. Millennial youth are a growing generation where there are many innovations in information technology. Millennial youth must have the principle to make changes for the better, from unfavorable conditions to better conditions, and those who are already good to be better by achieving in various fields they like. Cynicism is a wise tradition of promising happiness or salvation and various traditions of humor. According to this school, virtue is the only good. Thus, his followers lived a simple and self-controlled life. For them, it must be to their detriment to believe in influences which might compromise the independence of the will. Today's churches must also think about their next generation and prepare young people for discipleship so that they will become leaders with Christ's character and influence in their time. Without discipleship like Jesus did, the Christian life will become self-centered or a self-centered life.
