Abstract

Resesi dapat diartikan sebagai periode berkelanjutan dari pertumbuhan ekonomi yang menurun atau melemah yang juga disertai dengan kenaikan tingkat pengangguran yang signifikan. Resesi memiliki dampak yang sangat besar pada ekonomi makro dikarenakan akan menimbulkan kesulitan dan efek jangka panjang bagi masyarakat dan ekonomi, terutama pada rumah tangga dan bisnis atau usaha. Akibat dari hal ini sendiri banyak pembuat kebijakan termasuk Bank Sentral akan membuat kebijakan-kebijakan baru untuk mencoba membantu mengurangi frekuensi dan juga keparahan yang akan ditimbulkan oleh resesi.
