Abstract

This article analyzes the proposals of European youth regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human rights, highlighted at EuroDIG 2024 in Vilnius, Lithuania. In a context of technological advancements, geopolitical tensions, and humanitarian crises, the recommendations of young people reflect a deep concern for social justice, transparency, and inclusion. The methodology involves data collection from meetings and public consultations, followed by qualitative analysis of the proposals, categorized into themes such as transparency, inclusion, ethics, responsibility, and social impact of AI. The triangulation of data with existing academic literature and case studies validated the proposals and assessed their practical feasibility and potential impact. This study contributes to the academic and political debate, providing innovative insights for the ethical and responsible regulation of AI.
