Abstract

ABSTRAK Maraknya separatisme yang mengemuka bersama munculnya kelompok separatis dengan segudang cita-cita idealistik-komunal untuk menciptakan kehidupan yang lebih demokratis dan lebih berkeadilan akhir-akhir ini terasa cukup memprihatinkan. Hal ini terjadi di tengah-tengah upaya berbagai pihak—baik pemerintah dan non-pemerintah—untuk mempertahankan kesatuan dan persatuan Indonesia. Haruskah masalah ini diselesaikan dengan konflik horizontal dan opsi perpisahan (disintegrasi). Bukankah konflik tidak dapat dan tidak akan pernah dapat menjadi satu solusi penyelesaian masalah yang terbaik. Artikel dibuat sebagai respons terhadap masalah kebangsaan yang terkait, dengan harapan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi alternatif bagi upaya pemecahan persoalan yang ada. Kata kunci: Pancasila, keadilan sosial, persatuan Indonesia
