Abstract

Koperasi adalah suatu organisasi yang dibentuk oleh sekelompok orang yang saling bekerja sama unuk mencapai kepentingan dan tujuan bersama. Koperasi mempunyai perinsip yaitu anggotanya harus bersifat sukarela dan terbuka bagi semua orang yang ingin menggunakan jasajasanya dan memerima tanggungjawab keanggotaan tanpa membedakan gender, pengawasannya dikelolah oleh anggotanya secara demokratis, partisipasi anggota dalam kegiatan ekonomi. Kunci kesuksesan pada koperasi ada pada kepemimpinan, jadi koperasi sangat memerlukan seorang pemimpin yang mampu menjadi motor penggerak, pembina yang mengarahkan pada prinsip-prinsip koperasi yang sesungguhnya, pemberani yang mampu melakukan terobosan usaha baru bahkan untuk sesuatu yang sangat mustahil sekalipun, tegar dan konsisten dalam melaksanakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Pemimpin koperasi yang ideal seperti tersebut dapat diciptakan melalui pendidikan, pengalaman dan pembinaan yang berkesinambungan. Agar dapat mengintegrasikan keinginan-keinginan maupun kebutuhan anggota Koperasi, memotivasi dan mengorganisir kelompok serta mengarahkan kegiatan-kegiatannya agar dapat mencapai sasaran dan organisasi koperasi
