Abstract

Bisnis makanan Jell-O seperti Instant pudding, Jello shot dan Jeli ada di mana-mana mengalami kenaikan (rise). Namun sejak tahun 2022, industri makanan ini mengalami penurunan (fall). Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan penurunan (fall) dan kenaikan (rise) pada bisnis makanan. Studi ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal pada bisnis Jell-o yang bergerak di bidang makanan dengan analisis business model canvas, business pattern, business environment & value proposition canvas Bisnis makanan pernah tren pertumbuhan dan sukses karena memiliki value proposition produk yang mudah untuk dibuat, mudah untuk disajikan, dan terjangkau. Namun, bisnis makanan mengalami penurunan karena key activities tidak melakukan innovasi produk baru dan hanya melakukan innovasi pada variasi rasa saja. Studi merekomendasikan key activities membust produk Gelatin lembut seperti agar-agar tetapi lebih lembut dengan rasa yang manis dan terdapat berbagai variasi Jell-O dan juga melakukan marketing dengan cara membuat iklan yang strategis dan sukses sehingga bisa menarik para customer.
