Studi Business Model pada Maskapai Penerbangan Hooters Air

Abstract

Bisnis penerbangan Hooters Air di Amerika Serikat pada tahun 2000an mengalami era kenaikan (rise). Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan kenaikan (rise) dan penurunan (fall) pada bisnis penerbangan Hooters Air. Studi ini menggunakan studi kasus tunggal pada bisnis Hooters Air yang bergerak di bidang transportasi dengan analisis business model canvas, business pattern, business environment & value proposition canvas. Bisnis transportasi pernah tren pertumbuhan dan sukses karena memiliki value proposition konsumen diajak makan sambil terbang sejauh satu mil. Namun, bisnis tersebut mengalami penurunan karena key activities setelah serangan 9/11 yang diasosiasikan di industri penerbangan. Studi merekomendasikan key activities lebih mendalami ilmu makro-ekonomi agar apabila tejadi hal seperti itu dapat diantisipasi.
