Abstract

Masyarakat Tana Toraja dapat hidup rukun di tengah keragaman yang tercermin dari realitas Tana Toraja yang damai. Hal ini menimbulkan banyak pertanyaan bagi mereka yang ingin memahami apa yang membuat kedamaian dalam keragaman ini. Pemahaman Unnalli Melo memiliki pengaruh penting terhadap pendidikan karakter pada masyarakat Tana Toraja dimana penekanan pada kata perdamaian kemudian menjadikan masyarakat Tana Toraja tumbuh sebagai individu yang memiliki kerendahan hati untuk saling menghargai dan selalu menghadirkan keharmonisan dalam pergaulan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengetahui kajian antropologi terhadap paham “Unnalli Melo” dan kaitannya dengan pendidikan karakter dalam masyarakat di Tana Toraja
