Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of resolving non-performing loans at PT. Bank Nagari West Sumatra. This study uses quantitative methods to describe descriptively the process of resolving non-performing loans at PT. Bank Nagari West Sumatra for the 2018 – 2020 period. The results of this study show that the highest non-performing loans are in the 2018 – 2019 period with a growth rate of 0.07%. The cause of non-performing loans is caused by customers who use credit that is not in accordance with their intended use. Therefore, at the time of credit, the customer is no longer able to pay the credit along with the interest, thus causing non-performing loans. In addition, customers also experience failure in running their business, resulting in a continuous decline so that when the time of credit, the customer is unable to pay his credit bill and the bill automatically increases.
