Abstract

Wakaf merupakan salah satu instrumen filantropi Islam yang mampu menjadi kekuatan dalam menggerakkan perekonomian umat. Potensi wakaf di Indonesia terbilang cukup besar namun dalam pengelolaannya harta wakaf masih banyak yang menganggur dan tidak produktif. memanfaatkan potensi wakaf uang di lingkungan Universitas Darussalam Gontor menjadikan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat berwakaf uang mahasiswa agar stakeholder dapat memanfaatkan potensi wakaf uang di lingkungan Universitas Darussalam Gontor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa Universitas Darussalam Gontor tingkat literasi atau pemahamannya diatas Ratarata. Hasil dari penelitian dapat memberikan gambaran bagi stakeholder bagaimana kondisi yang ada di lingkungan Universitas. Terbukti dengan hasil penelitian, hanya siswa Program Studi Ekonomi Islam yang memiliki pengetahuan di atas rata-rata siswa jurusan lainnya tetapi masih diklasifikasikan ke dalam level menengah karena pengetahuan mahasiswa Program Studi Ekonomi Islam hanya sebatas pengetahuan dasar
